TRAIL BUILDING IN KIELDER FOREST
The Kielder Trail Reavers are a volunteer group who design, build and maintain mountain bike trails in Kielder Water & Forest Park, deep in the Northumberland wilderness, close to the border with Scotland. We meet up at least once a month for trail builds, and we encourage anyone to come along and join in. No special skills are required - just an enthusiasm for progressing Kielder as a top mountain biking venue. Benefits for attending trail build days include parking passes, special edition t-shirts and the satisfaction of what can be achieved.
We also run mountain biking events in Kielder, bringing funds into KTR, and providing donations for the Great North Air Ambulance.
Border Raid POSTPONED
We are sorry to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, the first Border Raid event, is going to be postponed until 2015. The Kielder Trail Reavers regret that this is necessary, but we will be running the new Border Raid in 2015, the date will be announced shortly.

Our Trail Build dates have been set for 2014. Stick'em in your diary, and be sure you don't accidentally arrange dinner at granny's house when you could be out building mountain bike trails!

Funding To Provide A Facelift To Trails In Kielder
Alex MacLennan - "I am delighted to say after months of work and being patient we have been successful in gaining funding to carry out machine work, buy in more stone, make changes to the trails."
"…basically we can make a start in the new year, which is great news."
