If you attend three KTR trail builds this year which anyone can, you will be given a parking permit which entitles you to free parking at any of the Kielder car parks. However if you attend five trail builds you will get a permit for the whole of the Forestry Commission Northern England District which now includes Kielder, Hamsterley, Whinlatter, Grizedale and Gisburn (free at the moment but charges are going to be introduced soon).
