Oktoberfest - 20th October

Oktoberfest signals the final round of The Bike Place Marathon Series, and the chance for everyone to grab those extra points towards their overall class win.

The route for this will be on the north side of Kielder Water, starting from Kielder Castle and will use parts of the new Osprey Trail (Blue grade) and some new off piste sections.  A two lap race giving a total distance of around 55kms.

Overall placings for the year will be finalised at the presentation.

The event is planned on the basis that each entrant is self-sufficient with regards to food and drink for the duration of the ride, and also in respect of minor repairs and punctures.  The course will be marked with Day Glow Arrows, and will be made up of Forest roads, green roads and man made singletrack.

Enter as a solo or a team of upto 2.

The Angler's Arms in Kielder village, will be host for this event.
