Length - 2 Miles
Approximate time to complete - 2 Hours (Including the Deadwater Red trail)
The Deadwater Black Grade trail, known as Up and Over, spurs off from the Red Grade trail just after Jimmy's Hill. This section of trail is for expert riders only, as it contains a very technical climb, some skinny woodwork on an incline, and an intense, fast paced descent with many large rock drops.

It's a technical trail that includes epic climbing and thrilling descending, packed with a downhill trail in the Forrest's Dive section of trail. Ending with a gap jump in the Rattlesnake section for those that wish to push themselves that little bit further. Forrest's Dive can be missed out by cross country riders by rejoining the Deadwater Red Trail at Superbowl and return to Kielder Castle on the Shake, Rattle & Roll section of trail.

THERE IS A SIGN AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TRAIL, WHICH EXPLAINS SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION. PLEASE READ IT BEFORE YOU RIDE ANY OF OUR TRAILS. For your convenience, and with thanks to modern technology, you can download that sign here. (Don't worry - it's a 'virtual' sign).
